SuperCon 2000, formerly titled Converter II, is the most configurable and versatile unit conversion program in the world, featuring Explorer-style user interface, lots of available conversion units included, batch conversion, quick reference, conversions between decimal, binary, octal and hexadecimal numbers, and much much more! Its intuitive user interface allows students to math experts to enjoy various unit conversions. SuperCon 2000 handles the conversion format [Base unit] = [Conversion Factor] x [Non-standard unit] + [Y-intercept]. The extendable conversion table, containing 67 physical quantities and 760 units of measurement, can be edited by means just like Windows Explorer. It can be also exported and imported as a text document. Each table can contain up to 200 physical quantities and 100 units per each quantity, i.e.; up to 20,000 units in total. You may share it with other people in your office, lab and classroom. A high-performance math expression evaluator ExCalc is attached to enable data exchange with SuperCon 2000. SuperCon 2000 will answer the practical needs for engineers, students and those who have the necessity to use considerable number of physical quantities and units for special purposes. SuperCon 2000 works on Windows XP/NT/2000/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 Notes Special characters such as å, é, ö, °, ², ³, ·, ±, or µ can be correctly displayed under Western and Central Europe language version of Windows only. Installing SuperCon 2000 1. ActiveX controls has to be installed in advance. The installer for ActiveX controls can be downloaded from Tek Design's website. It is recommended to create a restore point of Windows just in case before installation. 2. Unzip the distributed file into an arbitrary folder. 3. Right-click on the icon of the executable file "SuperCon.exe" and select "Create shortcut" to create a shortcut on the desktop. Double-click on the icon and confirm that the program normally runs. Refer to 5. below to show the help. You can create an independent shortcut to ExCalc in the same manner. 4. The program should work typically with no problem. In some Windows environments, Visual Basic (VB) runtime driver "msvbvm50.dll" has to be copied, if not exists and as an administrator when prompted by Windows, to the following folder: |

The VB runtime driver is included in the distributed ZIP package. 5. As the program contains the help files created in the old format with the extension "HLP", Windows Help program should be installed. See "How to Run Help Files" in our website for further details. Uninstalling SuperCon 2000 1) Remove the folder together with all the files where SuperCon 2000 was installed. 2) Launch Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, choose "vb5ocx" and click "Uninstall". Free Registration SuperCon 2000 was originally distributed as shareware, and turned into freeware later. In order to receive a password to unlock the trial version limitation for free, send your arbitrary ID (10 alphanumeric characters or less) from "Contact us" page in Tek Design's website. Choose About from the Help menu to display About SuperCon 2000 dialog box. Click on Register to open the Register SuperCon 2000 dialog box, where you enter your ID and the password exactly, and click on the OK button.
